VPI cleaned NM George Harrison (Beatles) All Things Must Pass triple album box. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
For sale is the triple album box All Things Must Pass by former Beatle George Harrison.
I am a record collector, not a store, and I grade conservatively using a NM, VG+, VG, VG-, G scale. I do not use EX.
Visually, each of the records themselves look almost new. The only marks I can see are very very light scuffs from being taken in and out of the paper sleeves. I do not see scratches. I also played the records a couple of times, never dropping the needle by hand. I played them using a Shure m97xe cartridge on a Dual 1229 turntable, listening with Grado SR 125 headphones. I heard some quiet crackles in the run-in groove and in between songs, but that was it. The records sound great. I therefore grade the records as near mint (NM). I also cleaned the records on my VPI record cleaning machine. (See photos.)
The box, while sturdy, has some issues. First, there is a blue spot on the front from some spill, I guess. Second, there is some ringwear and shelfwear. Third, one of the corners of the top has started to split. However, the box is still together, and the top has not separated from the bottom, which is a very common problem with these kinds of boxes. To be conservative, I grade the box as VG-.
The poster that is included is NM.
The inner sleeves are also quite nice. Two of them have no splits and look great. One has a slight split but otherwise is great and usable. I grade the inner sleeves as VG+.
