Description
Up for auction is Vienna Rangers' (shortened "V"-Rangers or V-Rangers to avoid legal problems) last effort before they called it a day in 1970. This Beat-band released a split-7", four 45s and a great, nearly impossible to find LP inbetween 1965 and 1969. Have a listen to the sound samples: What you get here is a soul-ish, relaxed Psych-Mod-Groover on Side A (a cover version of Ivy League's 'Make love', also compiled on 'Prae-Kraut Pandaemonium Vol. 20') and another sweet Britpop-influenced Popsyche-Dancer on the flip, both tracks drenched in snarling fuzz guitars. Very sought-after and tough to find!
Vinyl looks a bit sratched but sounds really great thanks to the super-loud-Amadeo-pressing that will not disappoint you at your next DJ-party. Again: TO GET A PICTURE PLEASE LISTEN TO THE SOUND SAMPLES TAKEN FROM THE ACTUAL SALES-COPY. Label on side A has the typical 'REDUCED'-stamp that you will find on 80% of all late-60s-Amadeo-singles. Cover has small tears on the edges and some ringwear but is in good shape. VERY RARE! File under: Schnitzelbeat, Austro-Pop, Austro-Beat, Prae-Kraut Pandaemonium, Psychedelic Beat, Mod, Österreich in den 1960ern... and next to: Hannes Patek, Austrian Evergreens, Beatniks 62, Sunset Combo, ORF-Big-Band, Wallflowers, Meadows, Bushidos, Charles Ryders Corporation, Hide & Seek, Novak's Kapelle, Les Marquis, Malformation, Madcaps, Slaves, Gregor Zwekan, Red Devils, ...

I try to grade as strict as possible. Sound samples are always taken from the actual sales-copy. (Recorded with a Vestax Handy Trax USB Portable Turntable, compressed to 256 kbit/s. Please keep in mind that the actual record will sound more lively of course.)
