Description

Downsizing - attic clearance
Since I'm struggling to find time to play grade my lps.  I thought I'd try another tack.  Since I've had no complaints about the 6 lps I've sold so far (on all of which I've found only surface noise) I will play grade only when I get a bid.  If I'm lucky enough to sell lots and get a backlog I'll stop listing and get caught up on sending lps.

Most weeks I can only post on Mondays, sometimes Tuesdays rarely over the weekend, but I will always post "signed for" as soon as possible.

 

A very clean copy

VISUAL

Sleeve - a little corner wear.  Spine solid and title legible.  A little rubbing down the right side. No rips or graffiti

 

Lyric sheet not folded or torn - slight wear at the edges, small turnover top right

 

Disc A1U RD / B1URT

very good condition superficial scratches all of which pass the fingernail test.

 

PLAY  to follow

Listened on Wednesday surface noise which is only evident during quiet passages.  Does not hop, skip or jump.

In response to a question Recorded at Trident Studios, London W.1. July through September 1971 Released in a gatefold cover. ? 1971 First copies with pink ''scroll'' labels and one-sided lyric insert, along with B&C credits on the labels and inner sleeve. Later pressings with mad hatter labels and B&C credits on both labels and sleeve. A third pressing has mad hatter labels with Phonogram distribution credits on labels and sleeve, after B&C went bankrupt. The matrix is as quoted. It's an A1 B1 Madhatter in good nick which is fresher than an A2 B2 Madhatter but perhaps not as fresh as an A1 B1 Pink scroll. If it matters aficionados will bid less. I'll have a look for B&C or Phonogram when I've slept of my nightshift brain damage.
