CONDITION OF VINYL: The vinyl would be classified as excellent++. There is a beautiful sheen to the record, reflecting a well looked after, rarely played, piece of vinyl. Even under very strong light there is hardly a blemish upon this superb item.There are a couple of paper scuffs only on this lovely clean vinyl .It plays with virtually no deterioration in sound quality at all. Fantastic! I bought this album back in 1971 and have treasured it since.
The music is stunning throughout.
CONDITION OF COVER: The cover would be classified as excellent++. The gatefold cover retains a superb sharpness, belying its age. No problems at all - a truly magnificent sleeve.
PACKAGING My vinyl is always very carefully packaged with inner stiffening to avoid the possibility of breakage. More expensive items will require a signature. Please bid with absolute confidence.
All these gradings are very strict and follow the Record Collector price guide.
MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges,spine splits,discolouration,etc.
