Van Der Graff Generator Pawn Hearts LP First UK pressing  A1/B1 on Pink Scroll Charisma

 

Sleeve: VG :  Gatefold sleeve shows a lot of wear. Damage to gatefold corner where surface has been rubbed off.  Front cover has sticker damage in the black area's of the sleeve.  These have been coloured with black felt pen.  Inner gatefold sleeve is in better condition with no writing or marks.  

Label: VG++ : Labels are clean and free from writing.  When tilted in light some spindle marks can be seen.

Vinyl: VG  :  Visually there are no prominent scratches or marks, the vinyl still retains a nice sheen.  When tilted in a strong light numerous scuffs and marks can be seen on both sides of the vinyl.  I have test played the record and it played through without any skips or jumps.  The audio playback was excellent for the majority of the record but there are a couple of sequences on both sides of the record where low level background noise and pops were evident.     To my ears the audio playback varies between VG- and EX+.  Therefore I have graded the LP VG.  I don't won't to discourage anyone but if you want consistent mint condition audio then you will be disappointed with this item.
