THIS IS A PRETTY NICE COPY! THE COVER, LP, ORDER FORM and INNER SLEEVE ARE ALL IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.
THIS INCLUDES THE CRAZY RARE ORIGINAL WARNER BORS. "IF" MAIL ORDER FORM. THE MAIL ORDER FORM IS ALMOST ALWAYS MISSING FROM THIS SET. THE MAIL ORDER FORM ONLY CAME IN THE FIRST PRESSING.
AS A BONUS I HAVE INCLUDED A Black & White PHOTOCOPY OF THE VERY RARE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER FROM THE FIRST U.S. PRESSING. I like to add a PHOTOCOPY of the hype sticker, if I have it, as an added bonus as they are usually discarded and are hard to find.
Up for sale is one(1) Van Halen - Self Titled Debut LP from 1978 on Warner Bros. Records (#BSK 3075). THIS IS A TRUE FIRST PRESSING. This is the misprint label version with the number 4 listed twice on the Side 1 label. There is No Barcode.
THIS IS THE SUPER RARE FIRST PRESSING VERSION WITH THE LABEL MISPRINT WITH Side 1 tracks being listed as 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5 instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
THIS ALSO INCLUDES THE CRAZY RARE ORIGINAL WARNER BORS. "IF" MAIL ORDER FORM FOR THE "A LA CARTE" WARNER BROS. SAMPLER LP.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS GREAT! But you may hear surface noise typical with a Very Good +rading.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age that may cause surface noise typical with a Very Good grading. Even with a Very Good grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.
Nice, clean labels with some spindle marks.
The cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, dings, fading, crumples, creases, and ring wear, all of which are typical with a Very Good grading. There are No Split Seams.
This cover typically doesn't age well, but this one is still in Very Good+ shape.The custom inner sleeve is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, soft corners, creases, crumples, scrapes, peeling, fading, and ring wear, all of which are typical with a Very Good grading. There is a small sized split seam on 1 side. (please see pics)
The "IF" mail order form is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, soft corners, creases, crumples, scrapes, peeling, fading, and ring wear, all of which are typical with a Very Good grading. There are no rips or tears. There are a few "dog ears" bends in the corners. (please see pics)
The LP is now in a plain inner sleeve.
