Description

PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DESCRIBE!!    PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER FROM 1978. NOT A RECENT REPRODUCTION OR REPRINT THAT HAS BEEN GOING AROUND LATELY.

THIS IS A REALLY NICE COPY OF A FIRST PRESSING WITH THE ORIGINAL RED HYPE STICKER.

THAT'S RIGHT! I SAID "HYPE STICKER"! THIS INCLUDES THE CRAZY RARE ORIGINAL RED HYPE STICKER.

THE COVER IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

THE LP IS IN VERY GOOD+ CONDITION.

THE CUSTOM INNER SLEEVE and HYPE STICKER ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.

THIS IS A TRUE FIRST PRESSING. This is the misprint label version with the number 4 listed twice on the Side 1 label. There is No Barcode.

THIS IS THE SUPER RARE FIRST PRESSING VERSION WITH THE LABEL MISPRINT WITH Side 1 tracks being listed as 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5 instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
PLEASE NOTE:

The Vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition, with typical wear from age & use with surface marks that may cause surface noise typical with a VERY GOOD+ grading. Yes, even with a VERY GOOD+ grading there may be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly, more noticeable during the quiet parts.

The cover is still in the original shrink wrap and is in EXCELLENT condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, dings, creases & crumples, ring wear, etc... There are no split seams.

There is a "dog ear" bend in the lower right corner of the front cover. (please see pics)

This cover is in really nice shape as it has been preserved in plastic lo these many years.

PLEASE NOTE: The custom inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, dings, scrapes, creases & crumples, ring wear, etc... There are 2 small split seams.(please see pics)

PLEASE NOTE: The ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER is in VERY GOOD condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to dings, scrapes, fading, foxing, ring wear, etc...

If any of these issues are a concern for you, please do not buy it.
Up for sale is one(1) Van Halen - Self Titled Debut LP from 1978 on Warner Bros. Records (#BSK 3075).
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME! But you may hear surface noise typical with a VERY GOOD+ grading.

Nice, clean labels with minor spindle marks.

The original shrink wrap has typical wear with age including small tears. There is a small tear at the bottom seam. (please see pics)

This cover typically doesn't age well, but this one is in EXCELLENT shape as it has been preserved in plastic lo these many years.

I placed the LP in a plain inner sleeve.
I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
