Van Morrison - Blowin' Your Mind LP
London - HAZ 8346 (Matrix - AZL-3056/7-1B) - Mono
One of the rarest Van Morrison records, this UK original 1st issue of his first and only solo LP release on Bang before the move to Warner (and Astral Weeks, of course), was only sold briefly before being deleted. Reportedly, this was due to Van's dissatisfaction at the release, feeling that it was rushed to press. Anyway, copies of this particular release are scarce and don't appear for sale often.
Detailed grading below. Please see photos for more detail.
Sleeve – VG
Some slight fading and delamination on front of sleeve. Discolouration and ringwear on rear, along with some writing (all visible on photo 2).
Record – VG-
Side A - Plenty of shallow surface marks. Light crackle during run ins and outs, barely audible during quiet passages. A couple of pops. Otherwise a great solid listen on this loud mono pressing.
Side B - As Side A with the exception of track 4 where surface noise is slightly more evident.
