Description
I am selling some of my personal vinyl collection. Many of these records are UK pressings and were purchased by me new in the 1970’s/80’s. They have been extremely well looked after, having only been played a handful of times on Linn or Rega turntables with a light stylus tracking force of 1.5 to 1.75 g.
Unless stated otherwise, the vinyl can be considered as mint and shiny with no significant marks – basically much the same as it came out of the original shop. The covers vary in condition but most are excellent just showing the usual signs of storage. Most have been stored in plastic protective covers.
This album is Van Morrison's classic "Days Like This" LP on Polydor Exile Records 527 307-1.
Matrix (dead wax) marks A1/1B, first pressing.
Vinyl grading is near mint. It has seen occasional play but still plays with excellent sound. The vinyl surface has some slight "bobbles" (very small raised areas) on both sides which must be some artefact of the pressing process. When I test played the record these had absolutely no effect on the sound quality. I have also occasionally observed these on other records. They are not audible apart from when one appears between tracks where one can just make out a very faint sound as one passes the stylus.
A very rare record on vinyl, perhaps Van's rarest? At the time of listing, this seems to be the only copy on e-bay.
Sleeve and inner are also in excellent condition with a very minor label mark to top right main cover.
