Description

Van Morrison TUPELO HONEY 1971 Warner Bros K46114

Released in October 1971, VM wrote all the songs on the album in Woodstock, NY before his move to Marin County, California.

The namesake for the album and its title track is a varietal honey that comes from the flowers of the tupelo tree in S E United States.

I have graded the vinyl Excellent, which previously I had graded it VG+ but have since looked again in a strong light, having been told that I tend to downgrade some of the vinyl.  There are clearly play marks visible under a spotlight that are not visible in ordinary light and seem mostly consistent with a record being brought in and out of its sleeve and light use generally.  It plays really very well, the most important thing and so I think the grading is fair and accurate.
I have graded the gatefold sleeve just Good Plus, as there are wear marks and a little damage on the reverse of the sleeve and along the edges of the sleeve opening and so the sale price reflects the sleeve condition.
