Description
This is a Van Morrison - Tupelo Honey white label promo gatefold jacket LP put out by Warner Brothers Records of Burbank California in 1971,WS1950. I am not a fan of the goldmine record grading scale many use.I use a 10 scale. On a 10 scale the vinyl is an 8.75.It has minor noise at run in and nothing else. The jacket is an 8.5.It has minor ring wear, some darkening of the cardboard, way minor edge wear, some DJ tags on back and a stupid name label at lower left. This was a big record for Van Morrison and the single "Wild Night" is always great. There are some fine players on the LP.Ronnie Montrose on guitar & mandolin,Bill Church on bass,Ted Templeman on organ. They would work together again and create a sound on the "Montrose" LP that remains an integral part of hard rock today(Van Halen). Listening to how well Montrose plays on the Tupelo Honey LP it is not surprising he wanted to do his own thing.Still, this is every bit Van Morrison's blue eyed soul and it would be difficult to find anyone doing this type of music better. The ruling songs are: Wild Night,(Straight To Your Heart) Like A Cannonball,Old Old Woodstock,Starting A New Life,You're My Woman,Tupelo Honey,I Wanna Roo You,When That Evening Sun Goes Down and Moonshine Whiskey...... .. .. I will combine shipping and ship as cheap as possible by weight.Payment via Paypal or Cashiers Check. If you buy more than one item from me I will ship everything together and base shipping charges on the weight of the total package. I will ship all over the world. Let's expand on that since ebay wants a disclaimer now on shipping out of the USA. You need to know the customs rules of your own country. You have to pay the fees, tariffs, etc if there are any when the item gets to your country. Customs forms have to be accurate as well. I will send stuff First Class at your risk, your decision. First Class is untracked and uninsured.Well,it is somewhat trackable as to where/when it leaves the USA,but things can get sketchy when trying to use tracking number in your home country. That means if the package is lost, due to there being no/minimal tracking,it is more or less impossible to find. Even more important is that there is no insurance on it,so if it is lost your refund money is lost. No refund on lost First Class packages. Think hard about shipping Priority. It is more expensive (way more in some cases),but tracked and insured. So,even if the package was lost you get your money back. You have to decide if the risk of First Class is worth the money you save on shipping. That is up to you. Media Mail in the US is $2.53US Priority is $5.80US. Canada First class is $10.55US Priority is $28.25US. UK/Europe/South America First Class is $16.75US Priority is $42.00US. Japan/Pacific Rim First Class is $16.75US Priority is $42.50US. Australia First Class is $16.75US Priority is $39.95US.Other countries of similar location will have similar shipping prices. Priority is best, tracked and insured. I repeat,First Class is at you own risk. It is untracked(minimally tracked),so if the package is lost your refund money is lost.Having said that First Class has been doing sorta OK of late. There are horror stories of lost records though. You don't want that to happen to you.Thanks.
