From 1968 a genuine 1st Press on heavy-set ATCO original mid-sixty label "Magenta/Ochre". Just holding this LP give you the goose-bumps - a total time traveller! Comes housed in an original past-over 1968 cover. Everything mentions '1841 Broadway' - as would be correct for the sixties. Catalogue numbers vinyl vs cover match too. Superb!
What do they sound like...?..early Purple, Uriah Heep, Arthur Brown....
Worth the money alone...for Season of The Witch....

Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In super condition and has only seen light careful use. Check out those spindle holes! Under close inspection I an only make outa couple of very slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of slight deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. And you're gonna need a clean player to do this title maximum justice. Some very very lowkey noodling slow-build passages. Anything other than near-archive condition will not give you perfect clarity. And I'm pleased to report...that's exactly what we have here! At worst a few crackles in one isolated brief spot per side. A couple of ticks in a couple of isolated spots on side 2. Highly accomplished.
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and many original examples will not be looking this spritely after this passage of time. USA sixties past-over covers are particularly susceptible to wear...which makes this example "very unusual indeed". Lovely clean and flat front and rear. No surface wear or creasing.. Hardly any edge wear which is extremely hard o find. Super specimen.
