Description
"The Box - Volume 2" 1990 box set from Present Records, limited to 50 copies, this is #11. After the demise of Innocent Records and the Clifton Hill Community Music Centre (CHCMC), Philip Brophy of Tsk Tsk Tsk (Tch Tch Tch) fame set up Present to re - issue his previous releases and other releases by like minded artists. All the artists on these records either studied and/or taught at Melbourne ' s RMIT. The records are:
* Cut Slash Kill "A Fistful of Rock"
* The Ultra Vibe Jive Tribe "White Word"
* Impact "Threat"
* Instrumentless "The Abominable Wall of Noise"
* Philip Brophy "Salt, Saliva, Speed and Sweat"
These records are by artists like Philip Brophy, Philip Samartzis, Ian and Andrew Haig.
The box contains another numbered box with the records and 2 VHS cases. One has videos from each release while the other has a booklet. All records are NM and the "Salt, Saliva...." lp includes posters for its theatrical release.
I have never seen this listed anywhere, either for sale or just as documentation. Copies of the "Salt, Saliva...." are up on discogs with 4 digit sale prices. I will combine postage. Overseas enquire for postage costs.
