This auction is for an original 45 RPM record titled Velvet Illusions by the Velvet Illusions, with the flip side Born To Be A Rolling Stone. It's on the Metro-Video Records label, and the numbers are M-V-309-A and M-V-309-B. My research shows the group to be from Washington state, and that this record was released in 1967. I'd call the type of music to be a combination of psychedelic and garage rock.

I'm not a record dealer, but I've been buying and collecting records since I was 10 years old in 1963 (yes, I'm a geezer). I'm selling this record since it's just too rare and valuable to risk putting it in one of my jukeboxes. I'm no expert on grading, but I'll do my best to honestly describe the condition. The labels on both sides show very minor wear, and have no writing or tags on them. On the vinyl, I can see some light scuffs and light scratches, but what's more noticeable is a few little bumps that look, for lack of a better word, like little pimples that stick up. These can be seen in the 4th and 7th pictures. These "pimples" don't seem to have any impact on the sound quality of the record. The record lays nice and flat, with no signs of warpage. I would guess the condition to be at least VG+.

Playing this record on my 1970's era home stereo set up, the record plays great, and the only sounds of wear that I noticed are just minor at the beginnings and ends of the songs.
