Description

This is the uk release of the Velvet Undergrounds self-titled third album. It was issued in April 1969 on the MGM records label. With this issue, the image on the back of the cover is horizontal whereas all other versions have it vertical. Of the pre-1980s issues of this album this one and the Canadian version were mixed by the MGM engineer, Val Valentin, and are somewhat different to all other versions - especially a different approach to the track "Some Kinda Love".  The record plays well and there is only minor surface noise noticeable between the tracks. The cover is in reasonable condition with minor creasing and a little edge and corner scuffing. The original inner sleeve has some creasing at the corners.
