1968 US stereo East Coast pressing of the legendary debut by The Velvet Underground & Nico on Verve Records. Complete with the iconic Andy Warhol gatefold cover featuring the original peelable banana sticker, still largely intact. Produced by Andy Warhol and featuring Lou Reed, John Cale, Sterling Morrison, Maureen Tucker and Nico, this landmark release remains one of the most influential albums in rock history.
Condition
Vinyl: VG Disc has surface hairlines and a few small scratches from use. Plays well throughout with light surface noise during the quieter passages and occasional ticks, but remains an enjoyable listening copy.
Cover: VG+ Original gatefold cover presents very well. The famous printed banana sticker remains largely intact with only minor damage around the centre. Overall a very attractive example with strong eye appeal.
