Description

Velvet Underground & Nico 1st lp RARE 2nd. state. orig

RARE 2nd. state original lp with "torso" on back covered by the original black sticker.   This is the first state, but what makes it the 2nd is the sticker covering the notorious "torso" design on the back cover of the gatefold sleeve.   This is a VERVE label STEREO issue.   That said the cover overall is VG++.  The Banana sticker is still there but as you can see from the photo the very top of the banana sticker is missing... also there is clear tape across the center of the banana, the front cover has some surface wear, the top edge is frayed a bit but not torn or split. There is some staining on the cover but over all not too bad, really.   The Disc is EX... and plays pretty well.   Certainly will be quite satisfiable to the ears.   As I'm sure you all know this lp is a bonafide classic with great heavy, dark fuzzed out tunes from start to finish... A true mindblower!!    VERY RARE!!!  NO RESERVE!!!
