Description

Original Verve pressing of The Velvet Underground & Nico, the groundbreaking debut featuring Lou Reed, John Cale, Sterling Morrison, Maureen Tucker, and Nico. Produced by Andy Warhol, this record is widely considered one of the most influential albums in rock history, blending art, experimental sound, and raw NYC underground energy.

Condition: Vinyl shows surface scuffs typical of age but retains strong playback. Cover has some visible water/moisture damage, but  original Andy Warhol pop art retains good eye appeal. Labels are clean with moderate spindle wear. This is TOUGH "Holy Grail" record in any condition. 

From the private collection of a Detroit disc jockey, this copy may bear telltale signs of professional use — such as taped sleeve edges to prevent wear and faint etched dates in the deadwax. These aren’t flaws but historic provenance, proof that this very LP once delivered the Velvet Underground’s revolutionary sound to eager listeners at the height of its impact.
