The Velvet Underground & Nico Andy Warhol LP with unpeeled banana (very top of banana - the stem - is clipped - see photo) and with un-airbrushed original torso photo of Eric Emerson on back cover. This is an ORIGINAL 1967 gatefold Verve blue/silver label deep groove MONO pressing V-5008...this is the West Coast edition...runoff wax etchings: Side 1: V-5008-S-1 MG-558-REV Side 2: V-5008-S-2 MG-559. On label, writing credits for European Son read: "Song credits: L. Reed - J. Cale - S. Morrison - M. Tucker". Vinyl has numerous superficial markings on both sides, but plays very, very well with minimal background noise and only the occasional pop/crackle. This is rich, powerful, deep groove mono sound. I have burned the entire LP below for you to playgrade for yourself so that you will know exactly what you are getting. Gatefold cover has wear normal and spot discoloration for a 48 year old record. It has no writing on it. It does have a 2.5" upper split. Spine and lower spine are fine - no issues. $4 to ship media mail in the US. $13 airmail to Canada. $20 airmail overseas (Japan/Asia, Europe, Australia.) I will NOT ship to France, Italy, Russia or any former Soviet Republics due to unreliability of local postal authorities. Do NOT attempt to have it sent to a US address and then have a freight forwarder send it to one of these countries.
