Description
THE VELVET UNDERGROUND "The Velvet Underground & Nico" LP, Verve 1967, V-5008. This is an original MONO pressing of the debut VU album with the withdrawn back cover in which you can see an upside-down image of another person projected under Lou's head. This was stickered over or airbrushed in all subsequent pressings due to a lawsuit. Peelable banana sticker on front cover remains fairly intact as these things tend to go - only the stem is peeled off and missing. There is a previous owner's name in pen on the front cover as well, plus some general, but not bad ring-wear and discoloration from age. There is a small promo holepunch in the bottom left corner as well. Vinyl is in in VG++/EX condition - very clean copy, which is unusual - so many original pressings of this I see are trashed. I have many other Garage/Punk/Indie albums from the '70's-'90's going up in the coming days and weeks, so stay posted! Will gladly upgrade/combine shipping - just add an extra dollar for each additional LP!
