Description

Here's a chance to own the rarest variation of this landmark LP - the Velvet Underground and Nico. This is the original mono pressing, with the rare uncensored "torso" photo on the back of the jacket. Includes original Verve inner sleeve. Original cover art by Andy Warhol, but sticker has been peeled.

Condition- Jacket shows light rubbing on front and back, there is a very small beginning split by the top of the mouth and there is a punch hole in the bottom left corner. The banana sticker has been peeled and some light residue remains in some places. The jacket grades at weak VG+. The record has some shine, but it has many light scuffs and marks from play. Also, the label on side two is a little off center - see picture. The record grades at VG by sight, but I played both sides and they both generally sounded much better than they looked, and overall they sounded about VG+.

Condition - The record is new & sealed.

Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
