Velvet Underground & Nico V6-5008 1967 Intact Banana SUPERB Copy.
The Velvet Underground & Nico, 1st West Coast pressing of one of the most iconic records ever produced.
Catalogue number V6-5008 'STEREO' Pressing on the blue and silver verve label.
It is housed in its original company inner sleeve, then placed carefully inside a poly lined sleeve, within the gatefold cover. The cover is in absolutely beautiful shape, with no strenuous sign of wear: it is square, with very, very little indication of any yellowing or deterioration on the back and front covers, around the edges or corners. The spine is nice and flat and clean and there are absolutely no creases on the sleeve. The banana has never been removed, nor are there any signs that this was ever attempted.
The vinyl is lovely and shiny, bearing a perfectly flat surface without any nasty deep scratches, dints or otherwise. However, there is a hairline mark, measuring 2.5" at 5'o'clock between tracks 4-6 on the A side. Please see photograph 6. This doesn't seem to compromise the overall sound quality, which is lovely and crisp throughout.
The label is still extremely clean, with the silver writing bold, shiny and clean. The spindle holes show little sign of much play.

V6-5008 SIDE1 MGS-558-REV On the A side
V6-5008 SIDE 2 MGS-559 on the B side.
The original inner sleeve is near perfect, with just a little creasing.
I have placed the record in a modern, poly lined protective sleeve, for obvious reasons, which has then been put in a sturdy PVC record cover, with the inner sleeve. The record sleeve is in a PVC gatefold protector.
