Description
Artist: The Velvet Underground and Nico Title: The Velvet Underground and Nico Label/Number: Verve V6-5008 (S)
Jacket condition: VG+
Record condition: M-
Notes: The cover is gatefold, of course, and is in decent condition with some minor ring wear and some seam and corner wear detracting. The top and bottom seams on the back part of the fold (the record side) are both split and neatly taped. The banana on the front is about 60% peeled. The back cover does not have the male torso around the band. The inside covers are in nice shape with all photos, notes and title listings looking good. The labels are the original blue Verve versions and are in nice shape with no flaws of note. The vinyl is bright and glossy with a couple of light scuffs indicating that it may have been played a couple of times. As a small, added bonus the record is still contained in its original Verve inner sleeve. Grading: Grading is usually only visual unless there are obvious problems that need to be checked out. I use Goldmine standards with a VG++ added for items NOT QUITE up to M-. I try to be conservative and grade as though I were buying the record. If you're worried about grading, however, please check my feedback and put your mind at ease. Mono (M) or Stereo (S) is noted after catalog number. Don't hesitate to e-mail questions.
