This is an original late 1960s US pressing of the 3rd "airbrushed" (no torso) edition of the LP; the back cover photo of the group had to be altered due to legal complications involving the projection of a still from the Warhol film Chelsea Girls.
Record is VG, very good. A couple of slightly wider-than usual scuffs and side-long scratches on side 1 may cause initial concern visually, but the entire album plays between a solid VG and VG+, with light pops and crackle that do not overpower the (incredible) music. The record obviously was not handled with great care, but apparently wasn't played too many times, either, so the groove wear itself is minimal.
Gatefold cover is VG; the banana's stem was torn off, then put back on, the peel-able banana sticker has some wrinkles. Previous owner's initials written in red pen, small print, upper right corner of front; corner wear, strong seams and spine, predictable amount of age spotting on front and back, lighter spotting on inside of gatefold, which rates VG+.
