Velvet Underground Squeeze Polydor 2383180 NM LP
Rare 1972 UK Polydor Super original. Still never issued on CD, and it's probably safe to predict it never will. The much maligned record doesn't turn up a whole lot, primarily due to the fact that this is the only Velvet Underground record that doesn't have any original VU members. I know, crazy right?That said, I really like this record. And many more folks probably would have as well if only Doug Yule didn't, I guess, feel the need to cash in on the VU "brand", as it was. The vast majority of VU fans truly hated this record.
Anyhoo, the jacket has some issues, including a touch of ring wear and stain on the top front center of the jacket. There is also a light upper right corner crease and some light seam wear. All of this is made tolerable by super sweet near mint vinyl. There are no marks on either side, the record looks and sounds great (I played side one to make sure). Scan is of actual item for sale.
