Velvet Underground, White Light White Heat, Orig UK MGM LP, EX/EX+, 2nd Press!

Description

Original UK MGM Select label stereo 2nd press LP, with the earliest A/1 B/1 matrices and 1-1 stampers!   The MacNeill Press matt sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light corner wear & discolouration/staining on the lower edge of the cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only one or two faint sleeve removal hairlines visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with no evidence of spindle markings!   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud hiss, pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief low background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & punchy listen!!   The matrix nos. are; 2353024, A//1-420 stamper 1-1-9, B//1-420 stamper 1-1-11. This is one of the very early copies of the 2nd 1971 pressing of the original 1968 UK stereo issue of this album!!
