This is a super rare MONO original copy of the famous Velvet Underground & Nico. US Verve release with blue label, # V-5008.
This is not in great condition, so I'm listing it at a low price.
Visually, the vinyl has a lot of hairline scratches throughout. There is a larger visual marking, which I've included a photo of, but it is not deep enough to skip the needle. I've played this record all the way through, and while it definitely has a lot of sizzle and pop, especially through the more quiet songs, there are surprisingly no skips. The production and mastering of this record has always been raw, and it definitely sounds great as a mono mix.
The sleeve is missing the banana sticker, and there is a split along the top, and some fraying at the edges, and obvious sleeve scuffing. There is a big sticker across the back, covering the photo of Eric Emerson.
