Description
O.K. Collectors......from one of the VERY few real (read: vinyl ONLY) record stores left (established 1980 so rest assured you're not dealing with a wannabe) here's a bevy of the real sound of vinyl for perusal for your edification and enjoyment. Besides autographs, I have over 60000 pieces in stock specializing in, but not limited to the real music of the 50's and 60's. so if you're looking for anything in particular let me know. Any questions??? Feel free to call my store American Pie Records in Ventura, Calif. (805-477-0083). The store for those who know and appreciate the difference of vinyl. Thanx for looking and good luck!!!
I just bought a store's inventory like mine and if I had'nt paid so much for the inventory I'd keep it, but as you can imagine or know when you own a store AND you're a collector you have to make a choice on what to keep and what to get rid of, and/but/so....Here's a STEREO (not supposed to exist) of the first Velvet Underground LP with the torso cover. The banana IS complete, but it is ripped 2" from the very top all the way across and from the bottom 1" up there's a tear that continues across 1 and a half inches, but not totally like the top. the LP ( and cover obviously)is inside a 10 mil sleeve for preservation purposes and I don't want to screw with it with it. Lp is VG+, and the cover (except for described banana) MIGHT have an issue IF the top flap is not supposed to be split on the side ( I don't know....in all the years I've been doing this I've never had an original one). But the opening bid reflects my uncertainly. Also because this cover is one that collectors can get VERY anal about, notice the 3/8" split in the inside center and the very slight "damage" on the bottom center seam. EVERYthing pictured as best I can.
Again....any questions feel free to e-mail or call. Stay tuned for more listings, music lovers!!!!.
Pictured as best I can. Remember I'm a record dealer, not a photographer (LOL). Titles on request.
NO PAYPAL!!!! Payment only through my store via MC and Visa according to e-bay policy at 805-477-0083. Free shipping only in U.S. and Payment expected with three days of auction closing. Buyer pays insurance if desired, but I'll pay the tracking in the U.S.
Remember if you're going to make an offer, make it an honest one and then FOLLOW THROUGH (Pay attention Dick(head) in Philly)!!!!. I've been around long enough to not suffer fools and I'm auctioning these off to make room for more as I'm working on purchasing on a store just like mine, one of seven in California specializing in, but not limited to, the real music of the 50's and 60's. If in the area, stop by. Off the beaten path, but well worth the effort!!!!!!
Good luck and good listening!!!!
