FIRST PRESSING ORIGINAL
This record was ORIGINALLY RELEASED ON THE Milmart label in 1959 and today a rare first pressing on Milmart is impossible to find.
Note that thought the name of the group is spelled differently due to a typo on the original Milmart pressing, this is the same VELVETONES group that recorded for Aladdin and which is well known for "Glory of Love" and other great Doo Wop recordings.
Both sides of this record are excellent and need to be heard. They both fall into the "obscure" category, generally because of the scarcity and high cost of the record.
The lead voice of the Velvetones on their Aladdin sessions was Eddie Lewis. Other members of the group in 1959 were Walter Jackson, Ronald Head, Neil Magby, and Bobby Jones, though it cannot be said with certainty, which of them, if any, were on this Milmart release.
