Venetains ORIG OZ LP calling the lions NM ’86 Parole RML53204 Synth Rock Pop
Original OZ LP released in 1986 on Parole Records. cat: RML53204. Comes with printed inner bag and foldout poster which are both in Excellent condition.
Arriving in Australia from England with master tapes in hand, Rik Swinn soon scored a deal with Festival Records' Parole label as the Venetians. Recorded with producer Vic Coppersmith-Heaven, the Venetians released the synth pop singles "Sound on Sound"/"Son Sur Son" (May 1983) and "Chinese I's"/"Fundamental Principles" (November). A backing band was put together and the Venetians began touring. Their third single, "Ooh la La"/"Things," was released in November 1984, followed by their debut album, Step Off the Edge, in May 1985. The band's popularity continued to grow and the album produced the single "Shine the Light"/"If London Were Venice" in February.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record is in Near MInt condition. Cover has a few light marks and tiny surface tears around edges and is in Excellent condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
