Description

The Ventures with Don Wilson as Don Dixon doing 2 vocals. "Cry Of The Wild Goose" B/W "For Your Love" on Blue Horizon 45 #6051 from 1961. This was pressed at Monarch in California Delta # 39838.


This record was never offered to the public and is quite rare.
I got this 45 from Don in a trade many years ago. Don was told that The Ventures were known for Instrumentals and that if he wanted to sing he should use another name so he used Don Dixon as an alias.

Nice Rocking version of The Wild Goose, flip side is a ballad.

Visually graded at VG+, both sides have light wear. Plays great, labels are nice, no marks.
