Description
Up for auction is this fantastic little gem. A 12" double sided 78 rpm transcription disc of the radio program Cecil and Sally. This disc has part 1 of episodes 107 and 108 on it. Besides being rare for the radio program, it is also of interest because on the 107 side, Johnnie Patrick aka Cecil, has autographed the label. Years later, as John Patrick, he won a Pulitzer prize for his stage adaptation of The Teahouse of the August Moon in 1953. Patrick was known more for his writing than his acting. There is no documentation to certify that this is an authentic autograph and I do not claim that it is. I only know that I didn't sign it! This disc is valued solely for the audio contents and its rarity, not for the autograph. Of course if this is an authentic autograph, the disc is worth a lot more.
