Artist: Agnetha (ABBA)
Record Format: 7" '45'
Record Title: Golliwog + Here For Your Love
Record Label & Number: EPIC STEREO EPC 2444.
Year of Release: 1974
Country of Release: Germany - which entails that the 45 was issued without a centre but I provide one with the sale.
Record Visual Quality: Side 1 is VG+ and Side 2 is VG/VG+
Record Audio Quality: Side 1 sounds NEAR MINT with no jumps, clicks or crackle. Side 2 is VG+ with no jumps or clicks but very minimal crackle: All my records are machine cleaned and fully played/ checked to ensure the quality declared.
Sleeve Quality: This Picture Sleeve which has a fine textured picture is VG.

COMMENTS
Here is a very rare and hard to find 45 that is very interesting, released in a 1974 German Picture Sleeve, in fine condition from Agnetha of ABBA fame. It was released in the same year that ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo, as her record company still tried to make her a solo star. Incidentally there is no racist content here with the 'A' side title referring to Agnetha's boyfriend in the song. Both sides of the disc are sung in English and come in a delightful, textured sleeve. Side 1 featuring some great organ work, tells the tale of her boyfriend who is not approved of by her mother. It is a nice beaty piece and one that is quite sexy with the refrain 'All your cheeky ways get me right in the mood'. It does not sound like Abba. The 'B' side is quite different sounding nearly Eurovision but it is very catchy if my wife currently singing it is anything to go by.
