Description
If you have read this far, you probably know who The Torques (tor-kaze) were - and are! One of the best "local" bands ever "born" in central KY. Seems like they were everywhere in the late '60's ': radio, sock hops, cotillions, etc. And of course at Carnaby, where this album (allegedly but unverified: still working on that) was recorded LIVE on New Year's Eve 1967 (12/31/66). I haven't had a turntable in several years, so all I can honestly say is that it played perfectly the last time I listened to it. I've checked with a couple of dealers and on-line price guides and no on can remember one of these coming to the market in the last 5 years or more. So if you always regretted not buying this one nearly 50 years ago...or you want your kids (or dare I say grandkids??) to hear some "real" music, this might be your last chance! This album will professionally and lovingly packed and insured. I am certainly no expert or dealer, so please ask questions if I can provide any additional info. If you have friends who might be interested, I would appreciate it if you would pass this on to them as well. Thanks for looking....and bidding!
