Full Album Description Item Overview & Musical Significance Up for sale is an incredibly scarce, highly coveted original 1990 US first pressing of Little, the landmark debut studio album by the late, legendary Athens, Georgia singer-songwriter Vic Chesnutt on Texas Hotel Records (Texas Hotel 20). Discovered by Michael Stipe of R.E.M. while performing at the 40 Watt Club, Chesnutt was immediately brought into John Keane's studio by Stipe to capture his raw, brilliant music. Recorded in a frantic session lasting under 24 hours, this sparse, acoustic masterpiece is widely considered a foundational holy grail of 90s alternative folk and indie rock lore.  Includes Rare Original Custom Inner Sleeve This copy comes completely intact with its highly elusive original custom inner sleeve, featuring Vic Chesnutt's handwritten lyrics, sketches, and notes for tracks like Rabbit Box, Speed Racer, and Independence Day.   • Vinyl Condition: Very Good Plus to Excellent (VG+ / EX). An absolutely beautiful piece of vintage wax. The vinyl retains a deep, mirror-like showroom gloss with pristine custom white Texas Hotel center labels showing no writing or heavy spindle marking.
  • Lyric Inner Sleeve Condition: Very Good Plus (VG+). Remarkably clean with no major side splits, crisp text, and beautiful preservation of the artwork.
  • Jacket Condition: Very Good (VG). The front cover art is bold and rich. The reverse side features the classic surreal illustration, track listings, and credits intact. Note: The jacket shows typical light vintage shelf and edge wear along the upper border, including a small split on the upper right corner edge and a small vintage price stamp.
