Description

Victor #21646: Paul and Charles Johnson sing two ballads, the "Crime Of The D'Autremont Brothers" and "Smoky Mountain Far Away". Great playing E+ condition record, clean, looks and plays nearly as new. The Johnson Brothers were from Happy Valley, Tennessee. These Ralph Peer sessions were recorded in Bristol, TN in 1927; released in 1928. The D'Autremont Brothers wrecked a train outside Medford, OR and killed four railroad men in the process. Considered to be the last great Western train robbery. Will combine multiple purchases to save on shipping.
