Description
Victor Orthophonic 'Scroll' label 10" 78rpm record #38577 "Hard-Headed Blues" b/w "Levee Camp Moan" by Clifford Gibson. Clifford Gibson was a black blues guitarist, vocalist and composer, born in Kentucky, but active in the St. Louis area. Gibson is a very arcane and obscure artist, but notable for being one of the two black musicians (beside Louis Armstrong) to accompany the 'Blue Yodeler', Jimmie Rodgers. Record in V/V+ with slight label damage on A-side. A hard-to-find record! My scanner insisted on scanning the label in black & white, but of course, the label in real life is black and gold. I pack records really well between sheets of foam insulation board and ship only via USPS Priority Mail. I do not charge extra for packaging and handling. Most locations in US will be $4.05 to ship, some areas and international will be higher, but I reserve the right to quote shipping costs to winning bidder only -- sorry. Insurance is optional. Godd luck and happy bidding!
