Victor Feldman Big Band 1955 UK 7" EP Tempo EXA 29 Hayes Deuchar Reece Scott EX

Description

The cream of the mid-50s modern British jazz scene appear on this 4-track 1955 EP featuring the Victor Feldman Big Band on the much collected Tempo label.

Alongside the multi-talented Feldman we get tenor sax geniuses Tubby Hayes and Ronnie Scott, baritone sax legend Harry Klein, stellar trumpeters Jimmy Deuchar and Dizzy Reece, and highly acclaimed rhythm unit Lennie Bush (bass) and Phil Seamen (drums) plus a stack of other top names.

Flipback laminated sleeve is excellent – very minor creasing and one tiny nick to the bottom flipback.

The vinyl is very bright and clean and plays well with a little surface noise at times.

Purple and white Tempo labels are excellent.

Getting harder to find, especially in such good shape!
