Description

Victor Monarch 660 (3096 etched into dead wax; 1901 visible under label--recording date is likely February 8, 1901)

Play-graded using a 1970's BSR record player, 33/45/78.


Usual scuffs and scratches to a record that is almost 120 years old.
If you own any pre-Dog or First Dog Victors, you know how they play. This one played through with evident hiss in the background, but I was able to understand Stewart's fast-paced monologue, replete with impersonations of a Chinaman.
