Description
If you like your records Reeeeeeally old, you may like this Victor Monarch, Eldridge Johnson, Pre-Dog 10" single sided disc. It is record number 3148 and is titled "Little Tommy Murphy" by Dan Quinn. It is announced. It has no chips or cracks. Audible scratches are fairly light for a record this old, but there. Surface noise is there but not too bad for a recording of this age. Hoping this fills an empty spot in your collection. Thanks for having a look-see!!
The record will be securely packed between several layers of double corrugated cardboard, one cut out for the disc. The few discs I've sold in the past generally arrived in great shape. However, the Post Office is sometimes unpredictable. Therefore, each shipment has a handling charge that is the cost of insurance and all shipments will be insured. Anything beyond basic insurance, I will pay for.
NOTE: I'm primarily a cylinder collector. (Have hundreds of the little beasts!). Through the years I've also sometimes purchased discs for their content, condition, apparent rarity or they were just plain cheap!! At age 61 I've gotten tired of lugging these discs through life. As none of my kids has the slightest interest in these old recordings, I've decided its time to start getting rid of some of them. Over the months they will be offered, more or less in the order that they surface from my barn and storage shed. (They have not been offered locally nor have they been picked through).
