Description

From a local estate, here is a complete 5-record set of "Smoky Mountain Ballads," edited by John A Lomax, issued on Victor, P-79. These are 10" 78rpm records with original case, artists include Monroe Brothers, Wade Mainer/Zeke Morris, Carter Family, Uncle Dave Macon, Gid Tanner, Dixon Brother, and more. The case shows a little wear and it smells a little musty, but the records are clean and bright, minimal wear, looks like they weren't played much and were obviously handled properly.

Please check out all of the photos above. Thanks for looking!
