Description

Here is a very clean original (not the recent reissue) copy of Gerard GR-1001, Vince Andrews' "Love Oh Love" from around 1982, featuring the track "The One Who Needs You."  This is one of the rarest LPs to come out of Ohio, and a very clean copy.  Cover grades Ex.  There are no splits or writing, but there is light creasing at all four corners, especially at lower right.  The cover is not printed on particularly heavy stock.  The white label disc grades Ex+ with perfect luster, and appears to have been played very sparingly. It's basically a near mint record, but I try never to use this grade unless it is a record that I have opened. This LP has always been extremely desirable, and apparently has been reissued recently.  I can assure that this is an original press, based on the collection from which I bought it (which included an original Dayton Sidewinders "Funky In Here" 45), and can further verify this by throwing in two other original Vince Andrews LPs on the same label from the same batch, one entitled "Very Convincing" and the other "Live At Guido's."  Neither of these records has been reissued, and having listened to them, I can't say this was a great mistake; they are both overly loungy.  Anyway, they will be enclosed with this one, and while you won't pay for them, they will add to your shipping.  Priority mail in the US will be $7.00, and airmail overseas will be $15.  Insurance is extra and optional.  Reserve is reasonable, and while I don't usually place reserves on auctions, I am afraid that everyone will either be celebrating some solstice ritual, or else will assume it is a reissue. (If you email I will tell you the darn reserve). Auction will not end early, so please do not ask.  Thanks for looking and please email with any questions -- Paul
