Vincent Gordon – ‘Inbidims’ / Dennis Alcapone ‘El Paso’ – Inbidimts (JA)
Two great Keith Hudson productions back-to-back on a very rare original disc from 1970. One side is a knock-out instrumental featuring the legendary trombone player Vincent Gordon, the other is the equally legendary foundation deejay Dennis Alcapone’s first recording, ‘El Paso,’ named after his legendary sound system that in turn took its name from a Marty Robbins tune (Country & Western runs deep in Jamaica). A piece of musical history here if ever there was one!Condition: VG+ or a notch better. For a forty year-old record, it sounds marvellous (please listen to the clips). And the hand-stamped labels – both sides are nearly identical – are gorgeous (please see scans). It will most likely be another forty years before a finer copy comes along!

Obviously, the second highest bid will have been raised, as it were, artificially by the ‘fake bidder’. I will try to lower the selling price to one increment above the third highest bid by way of offering a discount or free shipping (or both). Here’s hoping this auction will be free from any such problems however!
