Description
Vintage 78 RPM record storage album/binder featuring an attractive burgundy faux-leather spine with decorative gold/green Art Deco-style detailing and “RECORDS” on the spine.
Inside are heavy paper record sleeves designed to hold and protect individual 78 RPM records. The original index page is marked “Protecto Flap – Patent Pending – The Album That Protects Your Records,” “Made in U.S.A.” and includes spaces to record the title and artist for each record.
Album holds up to 12 records and measures approximately 12 1/4” tall × 10 1/2” wide × 2 1/2” thick.
This is an empty album—no records are included.
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with expected age-related wear, including rubbing/scuffing to the cover and edges, discoloration/toning to the paper sleeves, and general surface wear. There is an old partial label/sticker remaining on the lower spine. Please review all photos closely as they are part of the condition description.
A wonderful piece for a 78 RPM record collector, vintage music enthusiast, phonograph display, or period home décor.
Estimated era: 1930s–1940s.
