Vintage 1947 Scotty MacGregor CHILDREN'S RECORD SET (5)
- Description: Very rare set of "Zoo-Zoo Songs - Singing Animals" children's records. I believe it is a complete set, but since these are so hard to find, I cannot be sure, I've never seen any of these for sale before. "A little Record for Little People". All performed by acclaimed children's artist Scotty MacGregor. Each record is acetate (I think) on cardboard, essentially a flexidisk, each is double sided. I believe they were meant to have both covers detached before playing, I guess you could fold them back under when playing them, but seems clumsy. With covers attached they are in an accordion fold. Made by Steinway Hall MUSETTE of NYC. Each is clearly dated 1947. Record #1 contains "the Christmas Bug" b/w "the Elephant and the Turtle"; #2 - "The Happy Little Bumble Bee" b/w "The Little Bear who Had no Hair"; #3 - "the Ding-Dong Song" b/w "The Fox and his Friends"; #4 - "The Puppy Tale" b/w "Hop, Skip & Jump"; #5 - "The Slow Slow Turtle" b/w "The Little Fishy".
- Measurements: records are 5" across
- Condition: NM unused, a little wavy from storage but very minor, and no soiling, foxing etc.
- Country of Origin: Made in USA
- As always, guaranteed vintage item and not a recent repop.

SHIPPING AND PAYMENT TERMS
Refunds: Refunds are only given if item is not as described. Item must be in the same condition as it was sent. You must contact me within 3 days of arrival of package. Shipping is non-refundable.
MA residents must pay 5% sales tax.
Preferred payment: Money Order or PayPal.
Personal checks are accepted but will result in delay of 2-4 weeks for shipping; do not pay by check if quick shipping is desired.
If you pay by PayPal, I will only ship to Confirmed Addresses. I will not ship to an address other than a Confirmed Address. If you want an item shipped to an address other than a you must pay via Money Order or personal check. I am sorry, but I have had several false chargebacks lately, so if you pay by PayPal, it will be shipped to the Confirmed address ONLY. I will not accept payments from Unconfirmed Addresses.
All items are shipped via Priority Mail, unless otherwise noted in the listing description.
Combined shipping: Please request a combined shipping invoice if you have multiple winning bids. I am usually willing to wait up to seven days for you to combine auction wins. Some items cannot be combined for shipping due to disparate size and/or weights, and sometimes several small items can be combined for no increase in cost, most items fall in the middle somewhere.
Shipping costs and terms are not negotiable.
International bidders (except Italy) are welcome. I no longer ship to Italy. Shipping charges are noted in the listing. All items shipped air mail, letter rate unless otherwise noted.
