Description

Vintage 1973 Troll Records Thrillers & Chillers LP, opened but still in its original shrinkwrap. I purchased this new and sealed several years back, and VERY carefully unsealed it to play the LP and make a digital recording of it, then placed the lp back for storage.

It's been tested this past fall just to make sure it tracked well, and wasn't warped. This is basically in like-new/near mint condition and has only been played through conpletely two or three times. The cellophane is in great shape and the record sleeve itself is basically near mint/mint (please see photos- NOTE: any glare or fading is from the reflection of the shrinkwrap, the album cover is self is vivid and clean underneath). The album cover art is vivid and colorful with no fading. This one isn't easy to find in this condition (most are pretty beat up, with scratchy LP play) and would make a great collectible example, but one that you can actually play should you so desire. The Troll record ghost story albums are legendary, especially to 70's kids, some of the best children's ghost story albums in the genre, with top-notch voice talent, sound effects and this one is no exception. The Haunted House cover art is one of the coolest examples of the era, very memorable and atmospheric, as are the stories within. One of the nicest examples of this rare title I've seen on ebay or anywhere else for some time. This will be very well packed in a cardboard, reinforced box and insured.
