Description
The one... The only... The legendary: #1 Record. For sure one of the best albums of all time, and definitely one of our all time faves. Released in 1972 by Ardent and distributed by Stax. Big Star didn't attain the recognition they really deserved and this incredible album, despite amazing praise, did not sell like it should have. Big Star, and this album, has since become one of the most cherished things ever by music lovers. Every single track is beautiful and inspired, amongst those Thirteen, The Ballad of El Goodoo, In the Street, Feel, Don't Lie To Me, When My Baby's Beside Me and just the whole thing is a gorgeous event. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked it number 438 on their list of 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, which, in our opinion, should be way, way higher. Ardent Records ADS-2803
