Vintage 78 RPM Record - RARE - Columbia Reference Recording - Charlie Adams - "Hey Liberace" and "Will You Love Me When I'm Old - 1953 (Columbia Records #21195)
This record is very rare. What makes it that way is the type of record it is. "Reference recordings" were made for internal use within the studio. They were almost never taken from the studio and were almost always destroyed. Produced at the same time as promo (radio station) copies, studios used them to pitch new songs to prospective advertisers. It's possible one of those advertisers liked these songs and was allowed to sneak the record out of the studio. These are almost never seen and is one of the rarest types of records out there.
Condition is used, in fair condition. Fair condition means that records are not pristine. They may have cosmetic scratches or abrasions which do NOT affect play. No chips or cracks, but some might have edges which have started to flake a bit. This does not affect play.. They will have gray noise (static) to some degree, even with a new needle and good speakers. They will not skip. All of our records have been test played and are guaranteed not to skip or your money back. Record sleeves have wrinkled corners and may have small tears and frays, pen or pencil marks, clear tape repairs or dealer stamps or stickers. See photos.
