Excellent vintage 1967 Time Life Records 15-box set collection of "The Story Of Great Music," classical and opera recordings on vinyl. The set includes 15 boxes total, each containing a variety of artists and composers , 4 to 5 records each, with beautiful original full-color printed guides included. 33 1/3 rpm vinyl pressed by Angel Records.
These collections were released by Time Life Records, numbers STL 140 to STL 155 (not including STL 154) . The fidelity level and record grading are excellent, while the sleeve grading is excellent to very good plus. This is a very high-quality collection in excellent condition.
One box set (Spanish Tradition) has very slight moisture damage, but vinyl is excellent (see pictures). Couple of other boxes show minor wear (see pictures).
Each of the 15 individual boxed sets covers a range of time and style of classical music, and includes 4 to 5 records, a beautiful and informative 48-page illustrated guide to the music and era, a listening guide to the recordings, and heavy embossed color cover box with box sleeve.
