Fantastic "Disney" LP Package ~ Sword in the Stone, Small World + Merriest Songs
First, I feel a little guilty about selling these rare classical collectible records. I should be donating them to a Disney Museum somewhere. I don't think you will get a chance to buy many Disney Record packages like this one.
First; "It's a small World" LP ~ (ST-3925). 1964 Sherman and Sherman. Small world ride is a corner stone of the Disney Parks. Create for the 1960's World's Fair, this attraction has graced both Disney Parks since inception. This LP is both the songs from the ride in multiply languages and a pictorial booklet showing all the puppets you will see when taking the ride. I don't know when it will happen, but this ride definitely has an expiration date on it and when it does you will be glad you have this record and book to show and play whenever you feel nostalgic.
Second; Disney's Merriest Songs: 1968 Various Artists The Cover is great with so many of Disney's most famous stars. More importantly this record contains possibly the greatest Disney song ever, "I wan'na be like You", sung by the great Louis Prima, (The King of the Swingers)! Throw in some more songs with vocals by Julie Andrews, Louis Armstrong, Dick Van Dyke, and you have a sensational album.
Lastly: Sword in the Stone: LP record and Pop-Up Panorama Storybook: 1963 Sherman and Sherman The most rare and hard to find of the group is both a book and a record. Disney movie which got lost is the flood of great Disney Princess movies of the day but now enjoys great collectible status.
All these records are preowned. All estate sale finds in Northern New Jersey, (great Disney country here). I have played them all and there are no skips or issues, but they are 60yrs. The Jackets are all good but not mint.
"Now don't try to kid me man cub, I made a deal with you. What I desire is man's red fire to make my dream come true....Oh, whoopdee do" Couldn't resist.
Why am I selling These? (Oh yeah, I have others).
